Self-pay means you pay published prices directly rather than routing care through an insurance benefit. For many patients whose plan excludes weight-management medication, it is simpler and faster — and the price is known up front.
The published numbers
Clinic/visit fee: $150/month. At the maximum Mounjaro dose, the clinic fee switches to once every 90 days.
Medication: Phentermine + B12 injections $84/month. Mounjaro or Zepbound weekly injections $399–499/month. Ozempic or Wegovy weekly injections $199–399/month. B12 injections $15 per injection, started per protocol at 15 mg Mounjaro.
Why medication prices are ranges
Acquisition cost varies by dose step and supply. Publishing a range rather than a single number is more honest than a headline price you would never actually pay. Your clinician and our front desk confirm the exact figure for your dose before you commit.
Budgeting across a program
Plan for the clinic fee plus medication each month during active titration. Costs often become more predictable once you reach a stable dose, and the clinic fee cadence changes at maximum Mounjaro dosing.
If cost is the deciding factor, say so at your visit. A phentermine-based plan is materially less expensive than GLP-1 therapy and is appropriate for some patients.

The monthly clinic fee covers your clinician visit, plan adjustments, and titration management — in-clinic in Silver Spring or by telehealth across Maryland, including weekend appointments.
